SchoolWorks® reviews assess the effectiveness of school programs and practices by measuring them against a research-based set of standards that are empirically linked to improved student outcomes. These standards reflect best practices in teaching, leadership, school culture, and instructional support, and are grounded in national research on the conditions that most directly impact student achievement. This ensures that reviews provide objective, actionable insight into how well a school is implementing key practices known to drive student success.
Our site visit teams collect and triangulate both quantitative and qualitative data to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based understanding of school performance. Through a combination of classroom observations, stakeholder interviews and focus groups, surveys, and analysis of student achievement and demographic data, we gather a multi-dimensional view of a school’s strengths and areas for growth.
