School Improvement Supports

Learning Walk Training

SchoolWorks® Learning Walk Training equips educators and school leaders with the skills to observe, analyze, and improve classroom instruction through a structured, collaborative process. Learning walks provide a clear framework for collecting evidence on teaching and learning, identifying trends, and supporting professional growth across the school.

Co-Facilitated Learning Walks

At schools, SchoolWorks provides hands-on training through Co-Facilitated Learning Walks. Each half-day session includes:

  • Welcome and Norming
  • Classroom Observations
  • Debrief and Data Analysis
  • Action Planning

This hands-on practice ensures participants can confidently lead observations and facilitate meaningful analysis.

Train-the-Trainer Experience

At the district or network level, SchoolWorks also offers a Train-the-Trainer Experience. This cohort-based model trains participants to lead learning walks independently, norm their own teams, and analyze instructional data consistently.
