SchoolWorks® partners with incubators, associations, and CSP grant managing agencies to provide technical training for new school founders within fellowship programs via its Charter School Application Writing Bootcamp online course. By accessing the course, school developers gain valuable insights into the intricacies of the application process, learning essential strategies for articulating their vision, mission, educational model, and organizational capacity effectively. Bulk licenses are available.
The Charter School Application Writing Bootcamp provides a structured learning experience that breaks the application process into manageable components, helping participants understand what authorizers are looking for and how to communicate their vision effectively. Participants engage with a sequenced curriculum that aligns to common authorizer requirements and best practices in charter school design.
If desired, fellows may move through the course in a sequence that aligns with other professional development provided by the agency. SchoolWorks can provide periodic insight into the progress of collective and individual participants. In some cases, SchoolWorks even partners with agencies to customize elements of the course to reflect state-specific guidance.
The Charter School Application Writing Bootcamp offers agencies a scalable, asynchronous solution for supporting fellows through the application process. Bulk licenses provide consistent, high-quality guidance across cohorts while allowing participants to engage with content at their own pace—reducing staff burden and ensuring all fellows receive aligned, authorizer-informed support.
“SchoolWorks was instrumental in the development and successful approval of our six charter school applications. Their work brought coherence and focus that resulted in a strong academic program supported by research and best practice that was also grounded in operational and financial stability.”

“We are grateful to the SchoolWorks team for their support though this process. While our staff focused on the day-to-day operations of the school, it was a relief to have reliable and experienced help in preparing the renewal application. The mock site visit helped our team know what to expect during the renewal visit.”
